Frequently asked questions
How buying, trading and refunds work, plus the CS2 terms you’ll see on item pages.
Buying
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign in through Steam, which creates your account on the spot. That tells us which Steam account to send the trade to. You won’t need to create a separate password.
Is signing in through Steam safe?
The sign-in happens on steamcommunity.com, not on our site. Steam only tells us your public SteamID, so we never see your password or Steam Guard codes.
Which payment methods can I use?
The available methods are shown at checkout. Prices are fixed. Switching currency in the header changes the amount you’re charged as well as the prices you see.
Can I buy several items at once?
Yes. Add as many items as you like to your cart and they’ll arrive together in one trade offer where possible.
Delivery
How do I receive my items?
Once your payment clears, we send a Steam trade offer to the trade URL saved on your account. Open Steam, check the items in the offer and accept it.
Where do I find my trade URL?
In Steam, go to Inventory → Trade Offers → “Who can send me trade offers?”. The link at the bottom of that page is your trade URL. Paste it into My Account → Steam & trading.
Why hasn’t my trade arrived?
Usually it’s one of these: your Steam inventory is set to private, Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator has been active for less than 7 days, or your trade URL has changed. Fix whichever applies and contact support with your order number.
What is a trade hold?
Steam can hold a trade for several days to protect accounts. If the item you bought is on a hold, the item page shows it and we tell you the expected release date before you pay.
Refunds
What if you can’t deliver?
If we can’t complete the trade, you get a full refund to your original payment method.
Can I return an item after accepting the trade?
Steam trades can’t be reversed once accepted, so we can’t take an item back after delivery. Check the item page carefully before you buy. See our delivery and refunds policy for the details.
Skins explained
What do Factory New, Field-Tested and the other exteriors mean?
An item’s exterior comes from its float value, a number between 0 and 1. Factory New is the cleanest and Battle-Scarred is the most worn. The wear bar on each item page shows where that finish can sit.
What does StatTrak™ mean?
A StatTrak™ item has a counter that tracks kills made with it. It costs more than the normal version of the same finish.
What do the rarity colours mean?
From lowest to highest, the grades run Consumer, Industrial, Mil-Spec, Restricted, Classified and Covert. Knives and gloves sit above all of these. Each grade has its own colour on the cards and filters.
Account security
How do I avoid scams?
Only accept trade offers you expect, and check the items before you confirm. We never message you on Steam asking you to send us items, and we never ask for your login details.
Can I unlink my Steam account?
Contact support and we’ll unlink it. Your order history stays on your account.
